Any fur accepted for consignment must be appraised first!
There are two furriers in Johnson County that appraise furs:
Alaskan furs at 913.649.4000 charges $25, and
Ambience Furs at 913.677.3877 charges $15.
This appraisal usually takes about 15 minutes.
After the appraisal, call to set a time to bring in your fur and the appraisal form.
Trading Closets will not accept any fur that is not appraised.
We begin fur consignments November 1.
All furs placed on consignment will be marketed until December 30.
You will receive 50% of the selling price of the fur. There may be periodic markdowns of 10-30%.
Your unsold fur or payment check will be available for pick-up after January 1.
